This project began as a study of a 3d object (florence fennel) and how it could be translated to a 2d congregation of lines. After the line drawings I investigated how to create a 3d model in a digital program. I analyzed what portions of the vegetable were the most essential through a decay study, and focused in on that area, being the layered core. From that I drew inspiration for my module and how it formed connections and where those points occurred in the aggregation.  I then created an animation of the aggregate as a visual metaphor of decay and how it causes the subject to fold in upon itself.  [Modeled and rendered in Maya]
